Who am I?
Hi, my name is Anna, but you can call me Photini. I am a stay at home wife and mother. I usually enjoy reading in my spare time or listening to some music. Most recently I learned how to make prayer ropes, so my free time often includes making those. I do prefer orthodox reads and music that will edify my soul, but I also appreciate the religious-fiction or science-fiction books and ancient/classical cultural music. Some of my other interests include (astro)physics, math and most recently byzantine iconography and candle making. I am venturing on a journey, in a way, of (re)self discovery… well more like understanding who I truly am in light of Jesus Christ, my God and my Lord.

I am thankful you are here 🙂
To be completely candid and honest I am not good in the slightest when it comes to writing about myself in any capacity. So bare with me 🙂
The reason I wanted to start a blog is because I want to start a business and sell handicrafts. I thought it a good idea to create an online presence and see how I fare. I couldn’t think about one specific thing to make my blog about so I decided to make it about a little bit of everything. The things I do know and the discovery of things I do not know. Hence, why I have titled my blog “Walking with Photini” and I do hope that you will walk with me and learn with me.
I truly hope that you will find my blog helpful in some way or intrigued by learning something you did not know before or, maybe even both!
Plights of Life
I will talk about my personal plights throughout my life and how I have overcame them or are learning to overcome them.
Joy of Discovery
I will share with you all my new discoveries, the ones that fascinate me, encourage me and even put me to sleep. I have a fond Joy of learning and I hope you will too.
Love of and for God
I will share my experiences with and without God. I will expose life without love and with love. I will continue digging deep into who God reveals Him to be and who I am to be with Him.
